• Random Chaos Events: After each turn, an unpredictable effect can trigger to radically alter the board. Pieces might swap places, teleport to new squares, transform into other unit types, or even switch sides and betray their original team. (No need to fear unfair losses – kings are immune to all chaos effects so you’ll always have to deliver a true checkmate to win.)

• Adjustable Chaos Levels: You control how wild the game gets. Choose No Chaos for a normal chess experience, or dial up the madness with Light, Medium, or Maximum chaos modes (roughly 0%, 25%, 50%, or 100% chaos frequency). Set the chaos level before each game to make each match as tame or crazy as you like.

• Retro 8-Bit Aesthetics: Enjoy a lovingly crafted 8-bit presentation with pixel art pieces and old-school animations. The interface uses a classic pixel font (“Press Start 2P”) and a vibrant retro color palette to recreate the feel of a vintage arcade-era chess game. Every visual detail, from sharp-cornered menus to pixel-perfect piece sprites, is designed to spark nostalgia.
